Building Community

Making a Difference

The Santa Rosa Women for Good is a nonprofit giving circle made up of local women, coming together to donate to local organizations and serve the community together by volunteering. Each quarter our members each pledge $100 and as a group we vote to award our grant to another non-profit organization doing good in the community - 100% of our donated dollars go directly to the charity that is selected. With monthly meetings, the women in our group are able to network and get to know each other, and each quarter we choose a volunteer project to focus one of our meetings around. The more women who join us, the larger we can make our impact. Please reach out if you are interested in learning more or joining the Santa Rosa Women for Good.

  • Building Community

One of the primary goals of Santa Rosa Women for Good is to help bring women together to network, build new friendships and get to know new people in our community. It can be hard to find ways to meet new people and Santa Rosa Women for Good brings together like-minded women of all backgrounds who connect first over their commitment to the community and from there have the opportunity to build personal and professional relationships that can expand inside and outside of the group.

  • Serving the Community

Beyond our quarterly donations, the women of Santa Rosa Women for Good seek opportunities to put our commitment into practice by volunteering together. Each quarter we organize one of our monthly meetings around a hands on volunteer activity where we can enjoy socializing with each other and give back directly to support a non-profit in the area.

  • Making a Difference

Through the generosity of our members, we are able make a large collective impact when we donate together as a group. In our first 18 months, the Santa Rosa Women for Good has directly donated $35,000 to non-profit organizations in Sonoma County that are doing incredible work in the community.

The support from our community got my family through a very difficult time when we lost our home in the Tubbs fire. I am committed to giving back to a community that was there for me when we needed help!
